my name is jeremy and by some strange design i have become who i am.  my story is one that involves fighting for my life and i am determine to not go down without a fight!  i am currently working on my masters in counseling at multnomah university in portland, oregon. i am originally from hilo, hawaii and have lived there all my life.

i have a deep desire to offer hope to the world and invite others to embrace the hope of the kingdom of God. i believe God is inviting all of us to be a part of His grand story of reconciliation and redemption. 

i am an avid music enthusiast and enjoy connecting the subtleties of music to everyday life as well as understanding what makes musicians who they are on a personal level.  i enjoy reading of all kinds of subjects from theology to pop culture, film, music, art, philosophy, and psychology.  i hope to one day be a writer or cultural critic. this is just one way i can express hope through my love for writing and culture.
